About wild boar sightings

A wild boar sighting was reported. The contents are as follows.

[Location] Oyama, near the Shikenya Association meeting place
[Situation] A father and son wild boar were seen.
If you see a wild boar, do not approach or provoke it, ensure your own safety, and quietly leave the area.

*City officials and others are currently patrolling the area around the sighting.
*Wild boars inhabit riverbeds, mountain forests, etc., so it is impossible to ascertain the number of boars, but we are increasing the number of traps and taking countermeasures.
*When walking your dog, please be careful because wild boars react excessively to dogs.
*Please be careful when locking your doors, as footprints have been found in private yards.
