A window will be opened temporarily on holidays for renewal procedures for the electronic certificate mounted on the My Number Card.
The validity period of the electronic certificate mounted on the My Number Card is until your 5th birthday from the date of issue. Three months before the renewal time, J-LIS （ Local Government Information Systems Organization ） will send you an expiration notice.
If you wish to continue to use electronic applications （ such as e-tax ） or convenience store delivery services such as resident registration, you will need to renew your registration. （ No fee ）
Renewal procedure can be completed 3 months prior to the expiration date. Please check the expiration date before you complete the renewal procedure.
*Please note that we cannot accept renewal procedures for your My Number Card.
